London

Some streets in England are named after Jarrow in towns and cities from Chester-le-Street to Marble Arch. Debutant balls continued in Belgravia as the marchers entered London early evening. With chilling effects Robert Baden Powell's remarks in Scouting For Boys perhaps taken out of context have reared up that good scouts 'Respect the Queen and Kill The Unemployed' may not be that far fetched. Cruel Surrey public school ethos was to dash everyone abroad and on the home front: The poor were sniffed at. Queen Elizabeth I, starved or poisoned her army in Ireland. Railway navvies were left to starve at Rannock Moor. And what with Edward VII and the Mitford girls?
