Angels of the North

Jarrow.

Once I travelled to Jarrow from Nottingham. On the way back the north east was blanketed in snow and it was snowing. The young couple in the back wanted to visit the Angel of the North but we moved on. Pausing just in Yorkshire we joined the A1 again. After a while I noticed we were heading north and the Angel of the North appeared out of the distance. I watched the young couple, one of them my niece, throwing snowballs and smiling watched over by the Angel of the North.
